THe Well Weekly UPdate

What we're teaching on this week

We’re are starting a new series where we are going idea by idea through the book of James.  James is New Testament wisdom literature that is super applicable to life right now.

This week, we will be in James 1:2-8.  The key ideas are that pressure/hard things help form us into who God has called us to be and that if we don’t know what to do, we can always ask God, because he gives wisdom generously.

Here are questions you can ask at home:
-When have you gone through a hard time that helped you grow as a person?
-Why would James tell you to have joy during those times?
-What does James 1:2-8 show us about God’s character?

UPcoming Events in The WEll:

-Wednesday Night at 6:30 | 5th-12 grade | YTH Room
-Sunday Mornings at 10 and 11:30 service | 5th-8th Grade | YTH Room

Event HIghlight

Middle school and high school girls are invited to join us for a special morning of brunch, community, and encouragement as we look at the story of Esther and what it means to live with courage and purpose right where God has placed us.

We’ll enjoy brunch together, spend time in God’s Word, have meaningful discussion, and participate in a fun activity centered around our theme, “For Such a Time as This”Esther 4:14.

Come ready to eat, connect, and be reminded that God can use you right where you are and exactly as you are for His purpose.
