This Week: James 4
This week, students will be studying James 4 and talking about pride, humility, and surrender.
James challenges us to look beneath our conflicts, desires, plans, and even the way we view other people and ask an important question: Who is really in charge of my life?
Students will learn that pride isn’t always loud or obvious. Sometimes pride simply says, “I know what’s best for me.” Humility says, “God, I trust You more than I trust myself.”
We’ll walk through what it means to submit to God, resist the enemy, draw near to God, take sin seriously, and hold our plans with open hands.

We’ll be having a parent meeting on October 4th where I’ll have the opportunity to share more about the direction and vision for our youth ministry, answer questions, and connect with you as we move forward together.
